Financial Aid Information

Don’t let financial obstacles stop you from pursuing your passion! We understand that paying for beauty school can be a challenge to overcome, so it’s our goal to make tuition affordable for students. In addition to offering financial assistance programs and accepting a variety of financial aid* options, we have staff members who are dedicated to helping students with financial aid.

How To Apply for Financial Aid

To see if you qualify for financial aid, the first step is filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. This step should be done after you apply for one of our programs, but before you pay for it. The year-end deadline to complete your FAFSA® form is June 30th, but we highly recommend applying early to receive any potential funds in a reasonable amount of time.

To ensure accuracy while filling out the FAFSA® form, use information from your completed tax return (such as your income) instead of estimations whenever possible. You will also need to include World Class Academy of Beauty Careers’ school code, which is #04252400.

For more information about the FAFSA® form, visit the Federal Student Aid website. But, federal aid isn’t the only option to pay for school!

Common Options for Financial Aid

Grants

Grants are given to students in need of financial aid. Grants do not have to be repaid, making them a great option for funding your beauty education. When you submit your FAFSA® form, your eligibility for the Federal Pell Grant will automatically be considered. This is a great option that can save you a lot of money!

Loans

Loans are sums of money that are lent to you, which need to be repaid in full (along with a certain amount of interest) within a specified period. We participate in the Government Student Loan Program and we accept private loans. Here are some more details about the loans we accept:

Title IV Funds

There are many different types of title IV funds, including loans. Direct subsidized loans have low interest rates and can help students pay for beauty school. Interest on these loans does not need to be repaid while borrowers are attending school and for a period of six months after graduation.

Direct unsubsidized loans also have low interest rates, but interest must be paid by borrowers throughout the life of the loan. Direct PLUS loans are available to certain professional and graduate students, along with some parents.

Private Loans

Unlike title IV funds, private loans are not issued by the federal government; they are funded by private organizations, such as banks and credit unions. You will need to contact these private lenders directly to see if they will provide you with financial assistance.

Veterans Finance

We allow students to use funds from the Post 9-11 GI Bill® to pay for their tuition. To learn more about the Post 9-11 GI Bill® and check your eligibility status, please visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

Scholarships

Scholarships are a great way to pay for your beauty education. They’re usually awarded to students based on academic merit or other notable achievements. Different students qualify for different scholarships, and their availability varies depending on the time of year. In most cases, scholarships do not have to be repaid.

We offer in-house scholarships, so ask our financial advisors for more information about how to apply for these. We also accept other types of scholarships, which you can find and apply for by researching beauty scholarships online.

A good resources is Beauty Changes Lives, as they offer a variety of scholarships specifically for beauty school students!

Payment Plans

We offer no interest in-house payment plans and other forms of financial assistance to students who qualify. This can be a viable option to create a payment plan that fits Contact our team for details so we can figure out a payment plan that works for you.
