Harness Your Talent for Skincare as a Facial Specialist

You may have your skincare routine locked in, but have you ever wanted to help others bring out their best features with the right skincare products and services? In Florida, estheticians are often called facial specialists, and we’d love to help you pursue a future in skincare!

Our facial specialist program focuses on all the essentials of esthetics, so you can pursue a career from your passion for skincare and beauty. Esthetics is a competitive field, but with the right skills and personal dedication to your craft, you can pave your path to success. It all begins with the educational foundation you’ll find at our esthetician school in Tallahassee.

“I can honestly say that receiving my Esthetician/Facial specialist license has been one of my greatest accomplishments to date! From day one, Ms. Renae pushed me to be great, and she and my instructor Reenie allowed me the flexibility to develop my skillset as a skin care specialist.” – Siteria G.

What You Can Learn

In our facial specialist program, you’ll focus primarily on facial skincare, which includes professional facial treatments, advanced applications like chemical peels, and skin waxing. You can also explore your creative side with makeup application techniques. Along with these technical skills, you’ll build your business savvy so you’re prepared to work directly with clients and put your new skills to work.

Our program is designed to fulfill Florida state training requirements for esthetics, so you can be prepared to sit for your licensing exam upon graduation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the facial specialist program differ from cosmetology?

There is some overlap between esthetics and cosmetology, but they are different! In our cosmetology program, you’ll learn about hair, skin, and nail care over 1200 hours of training. Our facial specialist program is focused only on esthetics, so you can prepare to provide skincare services exclusively. This is a shorter program that can help you fast-track your education if you are not also interested in hair styling and nail care.

How much does the facial specialist program cost?

Tuition for the facial specialist program is $3,727.40, and there is an enrollment fee of $150 to be paid when you apply for enrollment. Tuition covers your kit and textbooks, so you will have everything you need to complete your program.

What are the prerequisites for attending esthetics school?

Prospective students for our esthetics training must be at least 16 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. If you have any other questions about what you need to enroll, please talk to our admissions team. We’d love to help you out on your journey to esthetician school!
